Today we drove to visit Jim and Mary Mather and their family that live in Mobile. The Mathers came to visit us in Nepal a few years ago and they have become great friends of ours. They were missionaries to Pakistan for several years and now they work with FOI in Mobile. It was really great to see them again!

Here is a picture of one of our churches in South Nepal. This church has been with us for more than ten years and they have been asking us to help them build a church building for them. The old church building was damaged during an earthquake some years ago and they have been asking us to help them build a new one.
Many of our churches in the village does not have a permanent location or their building is in need of major repairs. That is why, a few years ago, we decided to set up a budget to make sure all of our churches in the village are well established. The construction is simple, but it gives a place for the church to meet. The pastor, Ram Prasad, is one of our Bible College graduates and we are so happy to see him in full time ministry and work with him to reach the unreached.

We just wanted to give you a small update on what the Bible College construction looks like. We are really excited to see the construction moving forward. Even if it a temporary shelter we will be able to save the money on rent and we will have most of our ministry in one place.
It will be done before the new semester starts up again in May.

This weekend we visited our good friends Mike and Linda Jacobs. I used to live with them when I went to Bible school and it has been two years since we saw them the last time. They have a small home church that we attended. Here is a picture of Rebecca making cookies with "mama Linda".

Some more improvements have been done at the orphanage. The last few weeks Pam Smith has been visiting the orphanage and she came up with the idea of moving the well and the water tank so that the access water would drain into the garden. We thought that was a great idea so we made a new place for the water tank and the well. We also made a few small "paths" to cross over a small stream from the orphanage into the garden. The other picture is of Pam and the children working in the garden together.

Rebecca and Samuel continue to grow and develop. They are just amazing kids! This weekend we had my sister come visit us and she took a couple of pictures of them. She is such a talented photographer and Rebecca and Samuel loved to spend time with her. I just wish she lived a little bit closer....
We are now in America. We only stayed 10 days in Norway before we decided to fly to America to work on a renewal of Sudips visa. We will be staying in Florida until the 6th of May and then we will be heading back to Norway.
We are planning on moving back to Nepal again this year. Sudip will take a trip to India and Nepal in June to start with. Hope to see some of you while we are in the States.
