I am sorry that we didn't update the newspage so much in August, but we will try to do better in September. Having two wonderful kids is a blessing but a lot of work.

Samuel just turned one month today. Time goes by so quickly. He is amazing and he is growing so fast. Here is a picture of him as he grows.

Rebecca turned 2 years old today and we had invited some family and some of her friends. She had a great time and by the end of the night she was exhausted, but happy. Rebecca is beautiful and brilliant. We are so blessed to have her as our daugther.

In Nepal there is a monsoon every year. The amount of rain that comes during the summer causes flooding and landslides all around Nepal. We have also been having problems with flooding at the orphanage.
Maybe you all remember that a few years ago our neighbour took the hill on his property and leveled it out. This made our property lower than his, so the water was not able to drain the way it used to. He put drainage pipes down in the ground, but the pipes were too small and he did not put them low enough in the ground, so they are useless. So every monsoon we have been having problems with flooding. This year it has been really bad, but every year there has been water collecting behind the orphanage building each monsoon and it stays for 4-6 months. The whole building is affected when the water gets collected. We talked to our neighbors and asked them if they can fill their property with mud. But they don’t care. The water not only touches the building, but comes up to 5 to 6 feet up from the ground property level. I am quite concerned that the foundation will be ruined and eventually building might collapse. The foundation is concrete, cement and rod. I tried every option to solve this problem. We are concern that the children might drown. We came to this conclusion after waiting few a years. We need this property. We need to buy the property that is under water and put the mud so we can save the building and the children. It is around 4000 sq feet and the price has been around $60,000. We are praying for this amount to solve the problem. Please help us pray about a solution for this problem.
